So I woke up this morning and decided that I’m tired of work and just don’t want to go anymore. And it’s not that I want to get some other job, somewhere else. I don’t want to go to work anywhere anymore. I want to just hang out and do whatever I feel like doing.
So after experiencing this revelation, I got out of bed and got on my computer. That’s when I created this list. This is a list of all the things I would do if I didn’t have to work anymore. I plan on knocking out as many as I can in as little time as possible:
- Sit on the couch and stare up at the ceiling fan
- Go walk my dogs because they are both fat
- Eat two hard boiled eggs and watch SportsCenter
- Patrol my neighborhood while drinking a Slurpee
- Run for 5 minutes straight
- Take my car to the carwash and and buy a Caramello from the vending machine
- Go to the mall and watch somebody get their eyebrows threaded
- Get in my car, fill up the tank and just drive till I couldn’t drive anymore
- Sleep until I wake up on my own. Then force myself to stay in bed for an additional 2 hours
- Listen to Pandora on my Iphone until the battery runs out
- Try on new running shoes but stop short of buying any
- Read the first 10 pages of 5 books
- Listen to every CD of Tony Robbin’s Personal Power in succession
- Write down every thought I have for 45 minutes
- Watch the bonus footage on every DVD that I own
- Teach myself how to cook an omelet
- See how high I could count in five minutes
- See how many jumping jacks I could do before passing out
- Try on every pair of jeans in my closet
- Call random people and ask them how their day is going
That’s all I have energy to write today because I really don’t have to write any more than twenty. If I feel like it, I’ll write some more tomorrow.
If you would like to share the things you would do if you didn’t have to work anymore, leave some comments. I’ll approve them if I feel like it.
